Samuel Wibberley (incorrectly stated to be F. V. Wibberley), was a reservist, called up at the beginning of the war. 'He had recently gone to the front, and had only been in the trenches two and a half hours, when he received the wounds to which he succumbed, being injured in the head and chest.' He left a widow and one child, who lived at 6, Little Watson Street, Derby, and his parents resided in Coke Street, Parcel Terrace, Derby.
